8) Seed Or Overseed With a Cold Winter Grass
Some people like to have a green lawn year-round and those of us that use warm-season grasses like Bermuda, Zoysia, and others don’t have that option unless we overseed. In this case, it’s beneficial to go with a Kentucky Bluegrass seed or Fescue, as these grasses are great to overseed your lawn with over the winter.
I personally like the seed offering from these guys and I get seed from them year round.
Putting down seed is pretty easy and for the most part, just needs water. But you can also kick start these seeds with a fall fertilizer from SodSolutions that will help it grow and green up faster.
Hi, Alex Kuritz here. Growing up I remember that my family had one of the best lawns in the neighborhood. Richly green and lush. I did a lot as I grew up in terms of caring and tending for not only my family’s lawn but also my neighbors. I can say I have years of experience, and I am here to share it with you.
